Angelica Shuler, MSW, LCSWA
Clinical Therapist
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Work Associate. My experience includes clinical social work and working with both nonprofit and for-profit organizations which have sharpened my tools in community and clinical social work. I've worked with clients in multiple aspects of their lives through mental health and community resources that have provided me with an understanding of how family dynamics, social systems, organizations, and communities work together.
My role is to encourage and promote positive change in the lives of my clients and their families. My goal as a clinician is to provide a safe environment for clients to grow in their STRENGTHS in their own unique way.
With a master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from Fayetteville State University, I have been equipped with skills to work with children, adolescents, all genders, various cultures, backgrounds, ages, and beliefs. I believe that as a therapist it is my obligation to engage, support, and inspire my clients in their therapeutic journey and to help improve their overall well-being of life.
I see clients who are children, adolescents, young adults, and older adults. I am accepting clients with BCBS, Bright Health, Friday Health Plans, MedCost, Tricare/Humana, and self-pay.
The quote I live by is
“Diversity makes for a rich tapestry. We must understand that all the threads of the tapestry are equal in value, no matter their color, equal in importance no matter their texture” – Maya Angelou
