Jason Peace MSW, LCSWA

Clinical Therapist

I am a Clinical Social Work Associate with over 20 years of experience in the social work field. My experience includes work with both nonprofit and for-profit organizations while serving in various capacities ranging from counselor to executive leadership. I believe my experience provides me a unique therapeutic position in understanding how interpersonal dynamics impact the larger ecosystems of organizations, teams, and life. Throughout my career, I’ve supported various populations including children, teens, intellectually disabled persons, and older adults. Ultimately, my passion is to serve others in supporting them in reaching their goals and provide “tools” to address life’s challenges.

Growing up, my grandfather often said “Everybody is somebody”. That continues to resonate with me and influences how I attempt to build relationships with those I support. Whatever the reason that brings someone into therapy, it is equally important for me to get to know who I’m partnering with during our time together. I believe the best relationships are built on trust and this trust is critical during a therapeutic partnership.

As a black male therapist and a former collegiate athlete, I aim to normalize the idea of therapy for under-engaged communities of color and athletes, while highlighting its benefits.  My areas of focus include interpersonal and marital relationships, group dynamics and team building, and mental health diagnoses, such as depression and anxiety. I genuinely enjoy supporting clients and I look forward to partnering to help journey navigate life challenges.

I am accepting clients with BCBS, Friday Health Plans, MedCost, Tricare/Humana, and self-pay.
