Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate with a passion for building resilience and

supporting children, mothers, and families as they navigate life’s challenges. My therapeutic

approach is grounded in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

(CBT), and trauma-informed care, with the goal of helping families strengthen relationships,

develop healthy coping skills, and find greater balance and confidence.

I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Social Work from Walden

University. Before becoming a clinician, I worked as a preschool teacher, ABA tutor, and care

coordinator. These roles gave me valuable insight into child development, behavioral support,

and the importance of early intervention. They also deepened my belief in the importance of

social-emotional development and emotional intelligence, especially in children, as these skills

form the foundation for academic success, strong relationships, and lifelong well-being.

As a former doula (not attending births), I remain deeply committed to maternal mental health,

perinatal wellness, and the well-being of the entire family system. I believe that when mothers

are supported, children thrive, and families grow stronger together. Originally from Boston, I

relocated to North Carolina to be closer to my extended family, and I carry my values of

connection, community, and cultural humility into every aspect of my work.

Beyond my clinical role, I am the creator of Keys to Kids Emotional Intelligence, an online

initiative available on TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram that provides families with tools,

resources, and creative ways to nurture children’s emotional growth. I am also committed to

community advocacy, working to ensure families have access to resources, support, and

opportunities that promote healing and resilience. Outside of work, I enjoy crafting with my

Cricut and heat press, creating personalized items that allow me to combine creativity with

connection.

My goal is to provide a safe, nurturing, and supportive space where children and mothers feel

empowered to explore their strengths, build skills, and create meaningful, lasting change in their

lives and in the lives of generations to come.
